An event of this magnitude cannot be staged without the generous support of community volunteers. We are seeking volunteers for the day of the race. Volunteers will have a chance to catch all the action up close and in person.  


Ways to Help

There are many ways you can help us prior to race day and on race day, including:​

  • Pre-event set-up

  • Event day set-up and tear-down

  • Course Marshaling

  • Kids Zone

  • Kids Races

  • Festival attendants

  • Photography/Videography

  • Social Media


Youth volunteers (16 & under) will be paired with an adult volunteer.  If your child needs service credits for their school, we will gladly provide you with documentation of their service hours that afternoon.

Volunteer Appreciation

As a token of our appreciation, volunteers will invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Night at Sun King Brewery on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. In addition, all volunteers will receive an official event swag bag including:

  • High-quality official Indy Crit t-shirt ($15 value)

  • Reusable, drawstring bag and water bottle courtesy of Carmel Cyclery!

  • CLIF bar and Gatorade

  • Sunscreen and lip balm with SPF courtesy of the Heroes Foundation.
